DO YOU SEE CLIENTS IN-PERSON?
I DON'T WANT COUNSELING, BUT CAN I  SCHEDULE A SESSION FOR MY LOVED ONE?

I currently only see clients virtually. If you like the idea of attending therapy from the comfort of your own home, want to squeeze in a session during a jam-packed day, are immune-compromised, or don't want to travel for counseling sessions, the telehealth therapy format could work for you.  

While it's great that you want to support your loved one, potential clients can only initiate counseling sessions. 

HOW IS PAYMENT COLLECTED?

Due to the virtual counseling format, payment is only collected via credit or debit card. Once you agree to start sessions, you will sign intake forms, including a credit card authorization form that asks for your payment information. Payment will not be processed without your knowledge. 

WHAT IF I NEED IMMEDIATE HELP?

I do not offer 24-hour, immediate services, but several places in North Carolina do, including those listed on the NAMI NC Local Resources directory. Local Resources - NAMI Guilford

DO YOU SEE CHILDREN OR ADOLESCENTS?

I do not see children or adolescents. If needed, I can provide a list of clinicians who can assist. 

CAN YOU PROVIDE A ESA LETTER?

I do not provide letters for emotional support animals. I recommend exploring this with your primary care physician or psychologist. 

WHAT INSURANCE PLANS DO YOU TAKE?

Currently, I take Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC and Aetna. I do not take their Medicaid plans. 

DO I HAVE TO PAY WITH MY INSURANCE PLAN?

There are many reasons why people don't want to pay with their insurance plans. If this applies to you, or if you don't have any of the plans I take, out-of-pocket payments can also be made toward counseling sessions. This price can be discussed during your free 15-minute consultation.
